The 12th Street project in Surf City, Long Beach Island, NJ started as a brand-new spec build that this young family purchased with a clear goal: make it feel like home. They brought me in to add personality and warmth, mixing small updates with a full-home furnishing plan. Together we embraced color, playful patterns, and their collection of cool accessories to create spaces that feel fresh, layered, and unmistakably theirs.

Through my Full-Service Design approach, I transformed a new build into a welcoming, family-friendly retreat. We prioritized performance fabrics, durable finishes, and vibrant, yet timeless, touches so the house feels both elevated and easy to live in. Because the family lived out of town, I also oversaw the construction updates and coordinated every detail alongside the furnishings plan, ensuring everything was seamless and on schedule. By the time summer rolled around, all they had to do was walk in the door and start making memories - every space was ready for their first season on LBI.

The result is a bright, coastal home that captures this family’s style and energy, a place designed for gathering, relaxing, and making memories on the beach.
